So if the universe /multiverse was part of a living being on a subatomic or atomic level would this account for entropy

Entropy is a measurement of how much order has transformed into disorder. I don't think it's dependent on where it happens in a system. The Universe itself is going from order to chaos regardless of it being part of a subatomic system or level. What causes this (or so its interpreted) is the lack of thermodynamic energy for conversion into mechamical work.
