Ask nicely
Just asking what is your most expensive picture that you sold?
That would be this image of a tiger taken last year. A company wanted an exclusive 2 year image license with worldwide rights...Which comes with a pretty hefty price

Hi :) I love all your pics there is so much love in all ur pics :) and yes question;) I want to buy a camera and what would u recommend for a starter! Thank u
Thank you for the kind words about my work. In terms of selecting a great beginner camera, I would recommend checking out either the Sony a6000 or maybe the Sony RX100 III or IV. Both are very different cameras but they have the ability to take excellent images. This image was taken with the Sony a6300, a newer version of the a6000.

What types of environments are you attracted to when you decide to take photos?
This is a great question. I often find that I enjoy photographing things that I am naturally drawn to. That could be a specific subject, a location, an emotion or even just a feeling. I find that my work is exponentially better when I care about what I am capturing with my camera.

If you could be the spokesperson for anything... what would it be?
I would say for mother nature and all her beautiful creatures :)

Why is photography so important to you?
Because it allows me to capture and share the way I experience the world around me with others. That is truly a powerful thing!

Any photography tips for beginners?
If I could share one tip it would be to think more carefully about why you are choosing to photo something, rather then simply taking a photo because you find it beautiful. For example, in this image of a waterfall in Iceland, was it the motion of the water that caught my eye? The color of rocks? The scene as a whole? Once I have identified what drew me into a scene from the start...I can more easily find the best way to photograph my subject.

Love your photography. Would love to follow.
Thanks Ella! I truly appreciate your kind words. There is a lot of beauty out there in the world and I love that I am fortunate enough to be able to try to capture it and share it with the world! This photo is of Laguna Colorada in Southern Bolivia. I love how the minerals turn the water red.

You have been to many countries and travelled a lot ...As one such place/ moment where you felt like .. Your family to be with you to live that moment/ see that place ?? ☺😍
While there are many places I have explored that I would love for my family to experience, next on my list is the Northern Lights in a country like Iceland or Norway. It is such an incredible sight to see with your own eyes and arguably one of the coolest natural events in the world. This photo is from the Skogafoss waterfall in Iceland.

In your opinion, what is the best place to travel and why?
Well to be honest I don't feel there is a single universal country that is best for everyone. In my mind you should pick a place that challenges your notions of what "life" is meant to be and that, atleast in some aspect, has you outside your comfort zone. That is the best way to learn more about yourself...and you world around you! Photo is from Myanmar is Southeast Asia.

What can you offer today
Mostly love...a touch of compassion and a bit of empathy! There is enough hate out there in the world. We need more joy and acceptance out there! Photo is from a remote orphanage in rural Tanzania in East Africa.

Do you find your lifestyle fulfilling?
I do. I have a loving and supportive wife, an amazing 5 yr old son and I get to travel the globe, working only on the projects I am inspired by. On top of that I do what I can to give back to those in need around the world...so in the end...I really have nothing to complain about when it comes to the life I have chosen for myself. I am truly happy πŸ˜„

Is your job interesting or boring?
Nope. Not at all. I have worked for myself for the last 10 years as a photographer, photo educator and author. I am fortunate that I get to travel the globe to locations I want to experience and document and happen to get paid very well for it. If I was to complain...I would have to be a pretty bitter person :) This is a photo of me working in East Africa with the warrior nomadic tribe of the Massai.

As uou travel alot , you see things others don't get to see , if u had two recommend onething/view that others should see ..what would it be ? 😊
That is a great question and one that isn't easily answered. While I could of picked a few extremely remote and beautiful spots, I feel Yosemite National Park in California is a natural wonder that is more "realistic" for most people. With its deep granite valleys, incredible waterfalls and beautiful rivers...it is a place unlike most others...and is just a few hours from San Francisco.

Where are you now??
Well today I am actually flying to Iceland once again to hold a workshop. I teach photography workshops all over the globe where I help teach other people how to become better photographers. This image is from the Jokulsarlon region of South Iceland during sunset one evening. Enjoy & Share!

If you could send a message to the entire world, what would you say in 30 seconds?
Great question. I think it would be the importance of holding onto the notion of "Hope". Hope for a better future. Hope that we as a species will learn that we have much more in common with each other than we do apart. Hope that we can do more to help protect the world around us. Hope that that future generations will do better at helping to fix some of issues that we have created and left for them to deal with. And hope that we learn to love ourselves a little bit more, rather than be so hard on ourselves. This photo is from the Godafoss Waterfall in Northern Iceland from last winter. What is it about this site that u like? ??
Well I think most social media platforms are very superficial. There is social interaction, but it is only skin deep. Kiwi provides an opportunity to really engage with others around the globe through a series of questions and answers that really gets to the core of digital social understanding. With a few more features such as question categories, the ability to use media when asking a question and a more thorough global marketing push to bring this plat form to more people in our relative countries and I see Kiwi really taking off! Image if lower Yosemite Falls in Yosemite National Park. I simply like to include images in all my answers :)
